Philosophy

At Kicomm, we offer children and parents an individual childcare solution where each child has a consistent, qualified caregiver. In our small group, we ensure personal and stable care. Silvia, as an experienced professional, makes sure that every child feels safe and secure, while clear rules and a structured daily routine provide orientation and stability. We work with warmth and respect at eye level and rely on logical consequences to create a nurturing and trustworthy environment for the children.

Care & Integration

The children are integrated into the daily structure and experience values and rituals with a sense of security, just as they are lived within a family. We create a family-like environment where every child feels accepted and can develop at their own pace.

Learning Through Discovery

Playful learning and curious exploration are at the heart of what we do. Shared activities such as playing, cooking, gardening, and experimenting offer a wide range of opportunities to foster creativity and curiosity. At the same time, natural language development is supported, and social learning is encouraged through respectful interaction with one another. Every day, we spend time outdoors – playing, running, and exploring the surroundings.

Healthy Nutrition & Well-being

We pay close attention to providing a balanced, healthy, and fresh diet – using regional products whenever possible.

Our goal is for the children to feel completely at ease with us – physically, mentally, and emotionally. Cozy retreats and familiar rituals create a safe and nurturing atmosphere.

Free Play & Social Development

Plenty of free play – both independent and guided – gives children the freedom to explore their world and gain their own experiences. At the same time, they learn to treat each other with respect and are supported in forming and nurturing friendships.

Opening Hours & Holidays

Our childcare hours follow our regular opening times, public holidays in the Canton of Zug, and our company holidays. Adjustments can be arranged upon request. Any care beyond this is considered emergency care.

Public holidays:

Public holidays in the Canton of Zug can be found at zg.ch. These include: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Ascension Day, Corpus Christi, Swiss National Day, Assumption of Mary, All Saints’ Day, Immaculate Conception, Christmas.

Company holidays:

Company holidays are announced by email no later than 1 October for the following year.

Rates

Monthly flat rate in CHF for a childcare place (based on 5 days/week).

Registration & administration fee:

A one-time, non-refundable fee of CHF 150.– is due upon registration.

Daily Schedule

Additional Services

In addition to regular care, Kicomm offers:

• Care on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays (by arrangement)
• Flexible holiday care
• Overnight stays in exceptional cases (e.g., work-related or family emergencies)
• Transportation services – regular or as needed
• Lunch service with balanced meals
• Care for children with disabilities in exceptional cases (following prior assessment)
