General Terms and Conditions Childcare Kicomm
General Information
Kicomm offers childcare places that are accessible to all parents, regardless of their place of residence. These General Terms and Conditions apply to all childcare places and form an integral part of the childcare agreement. Kicomm is a service provided by Commestate GmbH.
Philosophy
At Kicomm, we offer children and parents an individual childcare option in which each child has a dedicated, qualified caregiver. In our small group, we ensure personal and consistent care. Our experienced professional makes sure that every child feels safe and secure, while clear rules and a structured daily routine provide guidance and stability.
Care and Integration
The children are integrated into the daily structure and experience a sense of security – with values and rituals similar to those found in a family. We create a family-like environment in which every child feels accepted and can develop at their own pace.
Learning Through Discovery
Playful learning and curious exploration are at the heart of what we do. Cooking, gardening, playing, and experimenting together offer a wide range of opportunities to foster creativity and curiosity. Every day, we spend time outdoors to play and be active in the fresh air. In doing so, we promote natural language development and social learning through respectful interaction with one another.
Healthy Nutrition and Well-being
We place great importance on a balanced, healthy, and fresh diet – preferably using regional products. Our goal is to ensure that children feel completely comfortable with us: physically, mentally, and emotionally. Quiet spaces and established rituals create a safe and nurturing atmosphere.
Settling-in and Communication
We design the settling-in period individually and gently over the course of two weeks. Daily conversations with parents and regular exchanges ensure close cooperation, trust, and transparency. We encourage children’s participation and independence so that they can take on responsibility and develop their own identity.
Free Play and Social Development
Plenty of free play – both guided and independent – gives children the freedom to explore their world and make their own experiences. At the same time, we promote respectful interaction and support the development of friendships.
Media Literacy
We also address the use of media, enabling children to develop a healthy and responsible approach to it..
Educational Concept
Our educational concept is guided by the core values of safety, security, individuality, and development.
We view each child as an independent personality with unique needs, interests, and opportunities for growth.
Our principles:
Individual Development: Each child is supported according to their age, abilities, and interests.
Holistic Learning: Education takes place playfully and in everyday life – through free play, movement, creativity, experiences in nature, and social interactions.
Fostering Independence: Children are encouraged to make decisions, take responsibility, and find their own solutions.
Supporting Social Skills: Mutual respect, helpfulness, and constructive conflict resolution are core values.
Language Development in Everyday Life: Language is intentionally promoted through play, storytelling, singing, and shared experiences.
Awareness of Nature and the Environment: Gardening, excursions, and the careful use of resources teach children the value of the environment.
Our goal is to provide children with a safe, stable, and loving environment in which they feel comfortable and can thrive – both in their personality and in their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Hygiene
At Kicomm, hygiene is of great importance to ensure the health and well-being of the children. We place emphasis on regular and thorough cleaning as well as on the personal hygiene of the children.
Handwashing: A fixed part of the daily routine – especially after outdoor play and before meals.
Fresh towels and washcloths: Provided daily.
Changing towels: Individually prepared for each child and washed regularly.
Toilet facilities: Cleaned daily, with guidance provided to children for hygienic use.
Room cleaning: Vacuumed daily, with wet cleaning twice a week.
Hygiene products: Soap, disinfectant, and wet wipes are always available.
Ointments and zinc cream: Available when needed to prevent skin irritation.
Emergencies
We are well prepared for emergencies. We ensure that both in everyday life and on excursions, we can respond quickly and appropriately.
First aid: A well-equipped first aid kit is available both on-site and during outings.
Pain relief and disinfectants: Administered only with prior consultation and parental consent.

Indoor Area
The spacious 5.5-room apartment offers plenty of space for the children. A separate playroom invites them to spend time, play, and explore. The room is equipped with a variety of toys, which are regularly rotated, renewed, and supplemented.
On-site Outdoor Area
In the house’s own garden, there is plenty for the children to discover. Fun and play are always ensured.
By regularly rotating toys, we keep activities varied and engaging.
Interaction with nature plays an important role: there are raised beds and a greenhouse where the children can help plant and care for crops. The harvest is later prepared and enjoyed together.
Playgrounds in the Area
In Baar, there are numerous playgrounds with different designs, offering something for all age groups. The locations of the public playgrounds can be found on the website of the municipality of Baar.
Cooperations
We are always striving to find new partners that we can visit together with the children.
